eVisa Rollout in 2026
From late 2026, many visitors and Skilled Workers will no longer receive physical visa vignettes.
Instead, their status will be linked digitally to their passport via the UK eVisa system.
However, biometric attendance at a visa centre will remain mandatory for most first-time applicants.
