4. How can I book a consultation?
You can book directly online through our consultation calendar or call 0121 828 2224. Both free 30-minute and paid one-hour options are available. Please note we are not able to give immigration advice over the phone, however, you can use this line to book a free consultation.
5. Do you offer free consultations?
Yes, we provide a free 30-minute initial consultation to discuss your situation and outline your options. For in-depth review, we offer a paid one-hour session deductible from future fees.
6. Can I get advice by email?
We do not provide detailed advice by email. Email is used for scheduling or general enquiries; regulated advice is only provided during booked consultations.
7. What information should I prepare for a consultation?
Bring or have ready your passport, visa history, key dates, and any Home Office correspondence. We’ll confirm exactly what we need beforehand.
8. Are consultations confidential?
Absolutely. All consultations are confidential and covered by UK data-protection law and our IAA regulatory obligations.
9. Do you help clients outside the UK?
Yes. We regularly assist applicants based overseas via secure online meetings and digital document submission.
10. Can you guarantee my visa will be approved?
No adviser can guarantee an outcome; decisions rest with the Home Office. We ensure your application is prepared to the highest professional standard to maximise success.
11. How long do immigration applications take?
Processing times vary by category—from a few weeks for visit visas to several months for settlement or citizenship. We’ll advise expected timelines during your case.
12. What are your fees?

13. Do you charge VAT?
VAT applies to most professional services if applicable under HMRC rules. We’ll confirm the exact total before you proceed.
14. How can I pay?
Payments can be made by bank transfer or card through our secure payment link. Full details are provided in your engagement letter.
15. What happens after I instruct AHJ Immigration?
Once you instruct us, we issue an engagement letter, review your documents, prepare your application and keep you informed through every stage until a decision is received.
16. Can you represent me if my visa is refused?
Yes, we can review refusal reasons, advise on appeal or re-submission options, and assist with preparing a stronger follow-up application.
17. Do you work with employers and sponsorship licences?
Yes. We help UK businesses obtain and maintain sponsorship licences and manage Skilled Worker visa applications for employees.
18. What is your refund policy?
If you cancel before work begins, you may be entitled to a partial refund in accordance with our terms of business. Once work has started, fees cover time already spent.
