Purpose of Our Free Consultation
Our free consultation is designed as an initial triage and assessment. Its purpose is to help us understand your situation at a high level and to confirm whether your matter falls within our scope of work and level of authorisation.
What the Free Consultation Is For
- Understanding your immigration situation at a high level
- Identifying the most appropriate immigration route, if available
- Confirming whether your matter falls within our Level 1 scope
- Explaining the general requirements and next steps
- Deciding whether we are able to take your case on
What the Free Consultation Is Not
- Detailed legal advice or a full case strategy
- A substitute for a paid consultation or full instruction
- A document-by-document review
- Ongoing advice for self-applicants
- Advice intended to be relied upon without formal instruction
Important Disclaimer
Any guidance provided during the free consultation is based solely on the information you share during that conversation. We do not take into account previous discussions, emails, documents, or external information unless you specifically refer to them during the consultation.
The consultation does not constitute a full review of your immigration history and should not be relied upon as definitive legal advice.
Existing Representation & Self-Applicants
We do not provide advice or support to individuals who are:
- Acting as self-applicants and seeking guidance only
- Currently instructed with another solicitor or immigration adviser
- Seeking a second opinion on an ongoing case managed elsewhere
If you wish to instruct AHJ Immigration, this must be confirmed clearly before we can provide advice beyond initial triage.
If, following the consultation, you choose to proceed with AHJ Immigration and we agree to take on your case, all advice will then be provided formally in writing and in accordance with our client care documentation.
