3. What types of visas do you handle?

We assist with spouse and partner visas, skilled-worker applications, student visas, visit visas, Indefinite Leave to Remain, British citizenship and other UK immigration routes.

4. How can I book a consultation?

You can book directly online through our consultation calendar or call 0121 828 2224. Both free 15-minute and paid one-hour options are available. Please note we are not able to give immigration advice over the phone, however, you can use this line to book a free consultation.

5. Do you offer free consultations?

Yes, we provide a free 15-minute initial consultation to discuss your situation and outline your options. For in-depth review, we offer a paid one-hour session deductible from future fees.

6. Can I get advice by email?

We do not provide detailed advice by email. Email is used for scheduling or general enquiries; regulated advice is only provided during booked consultations.

7. What information should I prepare for a consultation?

Bring or have ready your passport, visa history, key dates, and any Home Office correspondence. We’ll confirm exactly what we need beforehand.

8. Are consultations confidential?

Absolutely. All consultations are confidential and covered by UK data-protection law and our IAA regulatory obligations.

9. Do you help clients outside the UK?

Yes. We regularly assist applicants based overseas via secure online meetings and digital document submission.

10. Can you guarantee my visa will be approved?

No adviser can guarantee an outcome; decisions rest with the Home Office. We help ensure your application is prepared to a high professional standard, in line with Home Office requirements.

11. How long do immigration applications take?

Processing times vary by category, from a few weeks for visit visas to several months for settlement or citizenship. We’ll explain typical processing times during your consultation..

12. What are your fees?

Fees depend on the service type and complexity. You can view our transparent fee scale on the Fees & Services page.

13. Do you charge VAT?

VAT applies to most professional services if applicable under HMRC rules. We’ll confirm the exact total before you proceed. At this stage we not VAT registered, but please bare in mind this is likely to change soon.

14. How can I pay?

Payments can be made by bank transfer or card through our secure payment link. Full details are provided in your engagement letter.

15. What happens after I instruct AHJ Immigration?

Once you instruct us, we issue an engagement letter, review your documents, through every stage of preparation and submission, and keep you informed of updates.

16. Can you represent me if my visa is refused?

If your application is refused, we can explain what the decision says, outline the available options, and where appropriate assist with a compliant fresh application. Some refusal matters, including appeals or complex legal challenges, require higher-level advice or solicitor supervision.”

17. Do you work with employers and sponsorship licences?

Yes. We assist UK businesses with sponsor licence applications and Skilled Worker processes within our authorised scope. More complex sponsor compliance or enforcement matters are handled under solicitor supervision.

18. What is your refund policy?

If you cancel before work begins, you may be entitled to a partial refund in accordance with our terms of business. Once work has started, fees cover time already spent.

19. How do you protect my personal data?

20. How do I make a complaint?

Our Complaints policy is also avaialable on this website. If you are not satisfied with our service, you should first contact your immigration adviser for a solution. If the complaint relates to an immigration matters, you can contact the IAA using the information in your client care letter.
